Four ways to fight. Pick whichever one suits how you play.
Close combat · Power
Why carry a weapon? I was born with two.
No weapon, just fists and momentum. Brawlers go in first, take the hits, and break the enemy line from the inside. Hardest of the four to put down.
Melee · Blade arts
Steel settles what words cannot.
Sword and blunt steel. Solid on attack, solid on defence, and the wide swings catch everything standing in front of you.
Ranged · Precision
One arrow. One answer.
Bows and crossbows. The whole idea is to finish the fight before anything reaches you, and to pin down whatever does.
Spiritual · Support & magic
The spirits lend me their strength.
Staves, seals and spirit arts. Keeps the party standing, curses whatever is hitting it, and throws elemental damage once the healing is under control.
